Been Busy

I cannot believe how busy I have been lately. Between updating my website, trying to create something new, having conttests on my FB page, Kids, and school. WHEW! It really is neverending.

Baby/Wedding Announcements/Cards free?

 OK, I am getting a HUGE response for the cards and images being sent in to me for particular cards.

Please understand that I may not use ALL of the images you send in, but I will definately give you the card if I use your image in it…

That being said,  Here is my plan again with more cards that need images.

 I want to give away a card set (5×7, 4×6 and matching backs of the same card) to whoever can supply me with a photograph that would look just SCRUMPTIOUS in this particular design. Meaning, the colors would have to match or go well with the card.

The whole set is called ” Sweet Treats” (yep, I changed the name ) and each card comes with a 5×7, 4×6 and a matching back for each size.  I will keep posting cards until I have an image for the whole set.  Not only will you get the card for free, you will also get proper credit and a link back to your website or FB page or blog. Speechless

I sit here and watch, day after day, minute by minute, as the things I offer for free get downloaded. I watch the stats of the downloads rise, and I often wonder if anyone likes what I have to offer.  Why should I wonder? Well, because of the hundreds of people downloading, there isn’t much thanks, not many comments, through here OR my facebook page. But that’s ok, I’m not bothered by it. At least not to the point of ever mentioning it. I just keep doing what I’m doing, and I go about my happy day, knowing that someone out there is using what I create.

So why am I mentioning it now? Well, because when it came right down to it – all those fans that were quiet and non sociable on my fanpage, came out of the woodwork, stepped up and rallied behind me when I needed it the most. So I want to say THANK YOU to these wonderful fans! I know you are there, and I appreciate you! Even if you are some of the quietest people I have ever been in contact with   Here’s to you!

HDR Is In The News!

My day just keeps getting better and better! I found a new toy – and oh yes, I HAD to share it with you! What is it –  you ask? A newspaper! An online newspaper to be exact. Ok Ok, so maybe it’s not new to you, but by golly I just can’t stop playing and creating my own! I just made one for HDR photography. Now I can take all of my tweets from twitter that has anything to do with HDR photography and put it into one place, laid out just like a newspaper. I’m grinning from ear to ear   Yep, I’m easily amused! LOL Do you like HDR? You can subscribe to the paper if you’d like. It gets updated every 24 hours.  Happy reading!!

Good Morning!! I think :/

I don’t feel as if I’m getting everything together as fast as I want for this blog. It’s frustrating really! I have SO much to share and not enough time! Between School, 4 kids, revamping my website, and creating new things for everyone, I need about 20 of me to get it all done in a timely manner.

 I’m feeling a little frazzled!   

It’s all good I guess. Other than the kids, no one is making drastic requests of me just yet.  I did want to point you in the direction of my website though. Yes, it is under construction – I think I FINALLY found the ‘look’ that I want to stick with. At least until I get bored lol. What am I doing? Quick Ramble.

As if I don’t have enough on my plate, I started this whole blogging thing. LOL it’s ok, I needed a better way to connect with my fans, I think I got it down. Although I suppose that remains to be seen. I have alot to share, and it’s going to take awhile to get it all up and posted. So hopefully most of you will be patient with me.  That being said, I wanted to share the fact that SOME of the things (templates etc) cannot be found on here.  Some of them I will only share through my facebook fanpage. STOKED!

I am happier than I don’t know what!  Due to a recent harddrive crash on …not just one – but TWO harddrives, I thought I lost this little baby.

When I first got my Wacom tablet (CINTIQ 12WX) I couldn’t wait to use it! So of course, the type of person I am, I couldn’t  just do a few scribbles on it to get the feel of it, I had to go all out and do an actual freehand drawing.  Ok, so I cheated and used photoshop brushes for the diamonds and the sparkles, but at least I can say I did the whole rose freehand! Even down to the veins in the rose! It took me a long time to do, So I am STOKED that I found the large file and wasn’t stuck with just having the small thumbnail saved.
